Shabat Class 2:30pm
Join us on 10/22/16 for our "Sukkot Shabbat in the Park".
Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we will not have access to our regular location on 10/22 of this year, for our Shabbat service.
But, The LORD's ( יְהֹוָה ) timing is perfect and this may be HIS WAY of forcing our hand into doing a Sukkot service as a public outreach.
Simchat Yeshua Messianic Fellowship will be meeting across the street at Cameron Park.
1305 E Cameron Ave, West Covina, CA
on the Northwest corner of Cameron & Lark Ellen avenues
We have rented the "center pavilion" which only has 3 picnic tables and will seat about 12-15 people.
The children's play area is only 20-25 feet away. So younger children will be able to play safely and in full view of all of us.
There are very nice, clean restrooms close by in the central recreation hall.
We will need to work together as a body in order to make this work.
1) We will need additional shelter or shading. If you have a pop-up
canopy please bring it and we can decorate for Sukkot.
2) If anyone has access to branches of myrtle, willow or palm please bring them to help decorate the sukkah.
3) We will have "Lulav & Etrogs" available to shake before the LORD. (Leviticus 23:40)
4) We will need additional seating so bring your own lawn chairs
and a few extra if you have them.
5) We will not have access to a kitchen or electricity that day.
So, for Oneg think of picnic lunch type items.
Every thing precooked and easy to serve.
If you bring cold items you will need to bring an ice chest.
(the other option would be for everyone to bring their own "brown bag lunch)
6) If you want hot tea or coffee you will need to bring it pre-made in a thermos.
7) We may need a few extra portable tables to sit at, or serve food on.
We will not have access to heat or air conditioning so please dress accordingly.
Don't forget sunblock, sun glasses and any other protection that you may need..
Please Pray for nice weather!
This is the day for everyone to bring out their survival gear to test it out!

39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day [shall be] a sabbath, and on the eighth day [shall be] a sabbath. 40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. 41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. [It shall be] a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
John 7:2, 14, 28-29, 31
2 Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand. ... 14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. ... 28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. 29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. ... 31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this [man] hath done?
