Coming Events!
Dear Mishpachah (family):
Pesach (Passover) is the commemoration of God’s power, bringing the Children of Israel out from Egypt to become His People. There is much Messianic symbolism in the service of the Passover meal (Seder). The Communion, which is celebrated by Christians all over the world, comes out of the Passover symbolism, which Yeshua (Jesus) used to point to His atoning sacrifice. If you want to know what Communion is really all about, you need to see it in the context of the Passover Seder.
We are inviting you to join our celebration of Pesach on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, starting at 6:00pm, in the fellowship hall of WCCC (map on the back) in West Covina. There will be the reading of the Hagadah (Passover story), songs, a festival meal, and good company.
There will be a charge of $15 per adult ($10 for children 5-12yrs) to cover the cost of the food. The meal will consist of matzah-ball soup, chicken, potato, vegetables and a dessert.
The Passover Seder can run 3 to 4 hours, so plan accordingly. Also, you are advised to eat a snack before coming. You will understand this suggestion before the evening is over.
Please fill in and send the enclosed form with your payment to reserve your seat(s) for the Seder. Please have your reservation in to us by Wenesday, March 24, so we can know how many will be attending.
The Passover Seder will be held at: West Covina Christian Church, 1100 E Cameron Ave, West Covina.
